We are trying to put a team together for the Matchplay League Germany.

The idea is to form a team of at least two to a maximum of eight players. On each tournament day, two players of one team play against another team in a best-ball-match.

Tournaments will be played in three leagues: 1st League, 2nd League and Regional League. In the first seaseon, teams can choose in which league they start. In the following seasons teams can descend and ascend through the leagues according to their performance. The best 16 teams will play a national finale.

Sun is coming out these days and the long awaited spring seems to be here. That brings out the cleaning drive in me and this also included the most important posession besides my wife: the golf clubs.

A chance to spend some thoughts on my golf tools. Most of them are Wilsons, I started out with the Wilson Deep Red Fat Shaft irons (4-SW), that my pro recommended me at the end of my first golf year. And he recommended things right, as I still play them with great pleasure. The most unused of my irons is the 4 iron, there are only some days when I feel like hitting it. I force myself to use it more during practice and I kind of get used to it. Maybe I’ll use it on the course later this season.
