Golf History Cup
Next Friday, June 16th, the Golf Club Motzen offers a special kind of tournament. Playing the Thomas Cook Golf History Cup means playing like some 100 years ago, with reproductions of old hickory clubs, knickerbockers for the men and skirts for the ladies.
Every participant will be equipped with a linen carry bag equipped with five clubs: spoon, niblick, cleek, mashie and a putter. Also, the tournament will be played with old school gutty balls. Knickerbockers and skirts can be rented, Burlington will sponsor the matching socks. There will be a special valuation for best dressed lady and gentleman, to make things more interesting.
Starting fee will be 75 EUR, including a 10 EUR donation for the foundation “Kinder in Gefahr”.
