Schwung für Deutschland

Maybe this is the initiative that brings Germany forward or let’s us discover some new golf talents. Well, actually it is a cooperation between Citibank, golf.de and Logical Golf. On http://www.schwungfuerdeutschland.de you can upload a video of your golf swing or have yourself filmed. Videos can be voted by the user (you can win iPod nanos or Callaway golf equipment). The 20 best-voted golfers win an exklusive training weekend in Mallorca. So whilst you are reading this, go ahead and vote for my video (#146).

The site also offers an online golf academy, when you register you have to fill out a short questionnaire, on that basis you’ll be sent four issues of the Citibank Online Golf Academy with tips on how to improve your game. We’ll see if that helps.

    Unfortunately the nearest location for getting myself filmed has already had it’s filming day, so i’ll have to see if i can find a friend with a camera to get myself filmed. And because of that i don’t vote for you :-)
