Golfzentrum Potsdam
A friend of mine moved into a new flat in Potdam today. He now lives across the street from the Golfzentrum Potsdam which is situated in the former BUGA-Park. So after packing the stuff in his new home, I went over to check the range out.
Besides a driving range with putting and chipping area it also features a 6 hole practice course. As of next month, the course will be expanded to a nine hole course. The six holes so far are all par 3 holes between 63 and 109 meters in length. Far from being spectacular, it still is a good practice for the short game and the accuracy of your game.
Do not expect something like regular fairways or tee boxes, the course is basically a mowed meadow with some greens placed here and there. On the other hand the greenfee is only 5 EUR, so it is a fair deal . The driving range offers 20something bays and lots of targets to aim at. The staff is friendly and welcoming, so when you live in Potsdam or pass by and have the clubs in the trunk of your car, go hit a couple of shots.
