Island Golf

In the current issue of Golfmagazin you’ll find a big poster with a map of Germany that has all german golf courses marked on it. A great tool for planning your next golf trip.

Furthermore, I discovered that almost every german island has its own golf course. Here’s the list from Baltic Sea to North Sea:

  • Rügen: GC Rügen, Golfclub Sassnitz (thanks Martin)
  • Fehmarn: GC Fehmarn
  • Sylt: GC Sylt, Marine GC, GC Morsum auf Sylt e.V. (thanks Kiki)
  • Föhr: GC Föhr/Nieblum
  • Langeoog: GC Langeoog
  • Norderney: GC Norderney

    • Why do I feel tempted to play all those? Call it the Golfer’s Delight Island Trophy!

      Und man kann auf der Karte wunderbar reinmalen, welche Plätze man schon bezwungen hat (oder umgekehrt). ;-)

      Sylt hat noch wunderschöne und sehr versteckte 9 Loch in Morsum, der Golfclub ist aber nicht im DGV sondern rein privat, daher wohl auch nicht auf der Karte. Und in Hörnum bauen sie gerade noch einen Linkscourse, dann hat die kleine Insel 4 Plätze, ich fass’ es nicht!

      Da muss ich mir das Golfmagazin evtl. auch mal besorgen, so eine Karte wäre ja mal richtig praktisch.

      @Kiki: klingt nach nem spaßigen Wochenendvorhaben, alle vier Kurse zu spielen. Zum Glück gibt es eine direkte Flugverbindung von Berlin nach Sylt.
