Motion Sensors

Tonight I really got to appreciate motion sensors. Especially when they operate the light at the driving range hut at GC Pankow, where I arrived at 7.30 pm tonight. As it went dark around 8 pm the mentioned light enabled me to carry on my practice session.

Today I just concentrated on my short game and chose as range targets the flags set at 50, 75 and 125 meters. Furthermore I tried to hit the targets using different clubs. For the 75 m flag I would normally use a full SW, but also tried to make it with PW, 9i, 8i and 7i. During the very windy round last sunday I tried to keep my approach shots ‘under the wind’ but found out, that I hadn’t a very good feeling for the different lenghts. The practice tonight helped me a lot and I am looking forward to our easter vacation, where we will take on the first course for the GD Island Trophy, the GC Rügen.
