Sagt Hallo zu einem neuen deutschen Golfblog. Denis Krah ist seit ein paar Tagen mit seinem Foremenblog online (via Golfforum.de).

Kurze Artikel werden angereichert mit eigens erstellten PDF-Magazinen zum Download. Mit “Der Mann und das Handicap” wird uns die erste Golf-PDFnovela der Welt präsentiert. Ich bin gespannt, wie sich das entwickelt.

Via In Golf we Trust I bumped into the beautiful golf photography of Kevin Murray, you may have seem some of his pics already in different golf mags.

I’ll turn the phone off, close all messengers, but some nice music on and will dip into these colors and landscapes and wallow in it. Count me out for the next hours!

The Open Championship photograph of the year has been awarded, the best shot accordding to the jury was Andrew Couldridges emotive shot of Tiger Woods on the final green at Royal Liverpool with a shadow of the Claret Jug in the background. My personal favourite is definitively this spectacular bunker shot.

The competition was started in 2003 at Royal St George’s in order to identify the best images from The Open. I couldn’t find a gallery of the past winners, but would love to see it. Until then I’ll have to get my daily golf porn over at flickr’s golf groups.

In Golf we trust is a new golf blog that I came across via Tony. I like their spirit as they write “..it’s those occasional afternoons spent hanging about with your mates, phones switched off, communing with nature (ie scrambling around the undergrowth) that keeps us sane.” So, go check them out.
