My dear golf blog,

all the best for your second birthday, you’ve become a true friend and a well-estimated outlet for all things golf in my head.

All the best for the future

Baden Hills Golf and Curling Club

Yesterday I flew back from the Airpark Baden-Baden to Berlin. The Airpark is a former Royal Canadian Air Force base that now serves as a commercial airport. As you can see by the picture above the reminders of the military past are still to be seen.

Adjacent to the start and landing strip the Baden Hills Golf and Curling Club is situated (Google Maps). Built in 1962 by the Royal Canadian Air Force, the course was taken over by the club after the withdrawal of the canadians. The course (see pics here) offers 18 holes and measures 6.053m from white.

I wasn’t able to squeeze in some holes before my departure, but the next time I will plan some extra hours for a quick round. Greenfee is reasonable, € 35,00 on weekdays and €45,00 on weekends.
