Telecom Italia Open 1st round

BANG! What a blistering start Joakim Bäckström had in his first round at the Telecom Italia Open:

Two eagles, six birdies and ten pars add up to a 62 and gives Bäckström a three shot lead over James Heath. The course record by the way is a 61 (-11), held by Ian Poulter and Angel Cabrera since 2002 Apparently, Bäckström shot the course record with his 62, the information that I got from the European Tour website wasn’t accurate.

Martin Kaymer is -3 through 18 (T16), Marcel Siem is s -3 through 8 (T16), Erol Simsek is -1 through 7, Sven Strüver tees off at 14:20. Speaking of Erol Simsek, who is this guy?
