Course Presentation with Google Earth

My home club Gut Kaden plans to expand from 27 holes to 36 holes. To illustrate their plans for the public, they programmed a Google Earth layer that shows the amendment:

I like the work they did and the idea to use Google Earth as a presentation medium. It also could be used for existing courses to introduce the different holes just as a digital birdie book. Has this been done before? Any examples?

    Schöner Bericht! Ich muss gestehen, daß ich – in Berlin beheimatet – Gut Kaden noch nie gespielt sondern nur im Rahmen der Deutsche Bank Players Championship erlaufen habe. Das erste Mal spielen werde ich dort am 20. Juli 2007 anlässlich der AFTER-WORK-GOLF.net Players’ Championship 2007 eine Woche vor dem Profiturnier. Ich bin gespannt.
