Been there, done that

Playing GC Kallin last night, for the first time I was bored by the golf course. Fairways broad as airstrips (as Kiki would say),  bunkers that didn’t com into play and a rough that didn’t matter at all. The only remaining challenge is hole #2.

I was happy to play after more than 10 days without touching a club, the weather turned out to be gorgeous, I had nice company, but the thrill was gone. Also, the greens were in horrible condition, maybe the greenkeeper is on vacation. Hit the ball straight, you are in no trouble. Maybe I want to think more about ball placement and course management, but the course doesn’t give you anything to think about.
