Father & Son

The The KLM Open at Kennemer Golf and Country Club is a special tournament this year for veteran Bernhard Langer as he will play alongside his 17 year old son Stefan. Bernhard even skipped the FedEx-Cup-Playoffs for this.

I don’t know if he did his son a favour with this. I can imagine the nervousness of Stefan, being the only amateur in the field in his first European Tour event.

Stefan shot a 98 yesterday on the par 70 course:

That is probably the score I would produce on the course. His father Bernhard took 31 strokes less for his first round:

I hope Stefan can take a positive side out of this experience.
