A good way to start the weekend

1. Do not sleep in.
2. Have a healthy cereal for breakfast.
3. Beat the crowd in the supermarket and finish all you shopping in 15 minutes.
4. Head directly towards the golf course.
5. Do not overexaggerate the warmup.
6. Start playing from the 10th tee, as you have an empty course ahead of you.
7. Give your chance at par on almost every hole.
8. Position your ball well, keep it on the fairway and nail it down pinhigh at every chance you get.
9. The next time, try not to fuck up on the last three holes.
10. Beat your personal record of playing nine holes in under 1 h 15 min.

For the first time this year I played better than my current handicap. It feels like the end of a draught. I’ll put in some extra hours on the range the next weeks before the last tourney of the year on the 22nd of September. I will not end this year with a higher handicap than at the end of last year.
