Under Pressure

The 63-hole tournament in Bad Saarow is taking place on June 21st this year. After last years great experience (and the net win on the Nick Faldo course) I just called the club and wanted to sign up.

Houston, we have a problem.

Last year, the handicap limit was 28. This year, it is 24. My current handicap is 26,7. So, to be able to enter I have to reduce my handicap at least 6 points to 23,7. Which means, that I have to score 42 stableford points next monday. That should do the job.

I haven’t been out to play for some weeks and the range hasn’t seen my ass for a long time. Plus, my wife is complaining that I should spend more time with her. Dayum.

On the other hand, I scored my best results in tournaments I didn’t prepare a lot for. My best scores in tournaments stablefordwise was 51 respectively 49. So, on a good day, anything should go. I will report on this mission!

    June 21st? I would need to reduce my handicap by 8.5 points for that. Should be doable in two tournaments – if i have two real good days. :-)

    Bei mir sieht’s ähnlich aus; 40 Punkte am Freitag und ich bin wieder im grünen Bereich fürs Hulopo (max. 13,8).
