Astra Mat(s)chplay 2008

Another brilliant idea of my fellows at GC St. Pauli: they invented a matchplay series sponsored by Hamburgs Astra brewery. Anyone can join in and register. You then challenge your friends for 9 hole  matchplays at your favorite local course. After your round, you have your scorecard signed off by the club secretary and then mail them to GC St. Pauli.

For every round played you get points. More if you win, less, if you lose. Points are being doubled when you can prove that it rained during your round. I’m not sure if there are extra points for beer consumption during the round, but check out all the details over at the GC St.Pauli website!
