European Tour Shot of the Year Competition

Surely an interesting season it was this year with hard-fought battles of the course. Hard to pick the best shots of the year, according to the European Tour Website, these three are in contention:

• Graeme McDowell – Ballantine’s Championship, Day 4, 3rd extra playoff hole, Par 4, 2nd shot.
• Padraig Harrington – The 137th Open Championship, Day 4, 17th Hole, Par 5, 2nd shot.
• Padraig Harrington – US PGA Championship, Day 4, 17th Hole, Par 3, 1st shot
