Kaymer suffers foot injury

Germany’s Martin Kaymer has been ruled out of action for at least six weeks after sustaining a foot injury in the United States.

The current Race to Dubai leader and World Number 12 is due to have surgery on Thursday (August 26).

“Obviously this is a very unfortunate situation but I have a top medical team around me which will provide the best treatment to get me back to the competition,” said the 24 year old.

“I will do everything to recover as soon as possible in order to secure a good position in The Race to Dubai.”
